CrossFit BINGO

Each year, we roll into summer with a month-long Bingo game. Here's how it works :)

  • THE HOPPER: Each ball in the hopper corresponds to a workout.  When a ball is rolled out, it tells us the workout for the next day.
  • ROLLING: Whoever wins the workout gets the honor of rolling the Bingo wheel to choose the next day's WOD.
  • RE-ROLLING: Winner has the option of re-rolling. If they do not like the 1st workout that comes out of the hopper, they can roll again. Whatever is rolled that time is the WOD. No take backs. (So here is an example.... Puma wins the WOD. He rolls I21-Murph, doesn't want that b/c we just did it, re-rolls and gets B7-Fran. The next day's WOD is Fran.)
  • HOW TO WIN: Earn letters by doing the workouts. Do the daily WOD to earn the letter that corresponds to it. When you have all the letters, B-I-N-G-O, you win a Carport CrossFit t-shirt!!

*** If you cannot do pull ups do not sub jumping pull ups. Do Ring Rows or Assisted Pull ups instead.

3 Pull-ups

Complete as many rounds in 12 minutes as you can of:
5 Pull-ups

Puppies:
Complete as many rounds in 12 minutes as you can of:
1 Pull-ups (or 3 Beginner or Assisted Pull ups)
4 Push-ups
7 Squats

Buttercups:
Complete as many rounds in 10 minutes as you can of:
1 Beginner or Assisted Pull-ups
4 Push-ups
7 Squats

RX 20+10 then added a Murph spin to it and did a 2 mile run. I call it "Mindy"

2% through the"1,000,000 meter baby" rowed 10,000 meters in 44 min. Last 2000m was 7:44

And it is cool to see Tonya roll a dead-lift w.o.d after she put one back because it had dead lifts. :)

I looked back from December and I did 13 rounds with a purple and red band. Progress!

because i have no recollection of this happening, i can only hypothesize that the reason for my absence this morning is because i turned my alarm off rather than hitting snooze. MY BAD!

i won't be there tomorrow either because i have a doctors appointment at 6:30. so sad i'll be missing dead lifts...

21 plus 4 pu
ran it a few days after it was posted on a saturday.
started with regular pushups but wasn't getting chest to deck. went to games style in round 7'ish.
pullups butterfly until last 5 rounds.
tried to do butt to ankles on squats, but the first few rounds were a little shoddy b/c of the speed. i'd either hit the hole or not open up all the way.
