Weighted pull-ups 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

Post bodyweight and loads to comments. Compare to 7/7/11.

***If you don't have a pullup or can only pullup your bodyweight, do "Hang Time".

"Hang Time": Try to keep yourself pulled up as long as possible. Time starts when your chin is over the bar and stops when you reach dead hang. So keep pulling even after your chin drops below the bar! Total time for 5 rounds.
ie. 70sec+60+65+40+40=275sec or 4:35

Wednesday 5:30am class is here to stay!
As the weather heats up, the morning class becomes more and more popular. To accommodate the growing class, we are considering adding another a.m. class. If we do so, the morning schedule would look something like this:
5:00-5:45am, 5:45-6:30am
Or
5:15-6:00am, 6:00-6:45
Morning Crew, would you be interested in that? If so, what time would you prefer?

Questionable ROM on my first attempt at 63.5 so I did it again and nailed it! I was able to get my chin to the bar with 68.5 but not over it. This is a HUGE improvement from last year! 17# better than 2011! I'm patting myself on the back ;)

my vote for morning class options are 5:15 start with 6:45 end, but not sure if everyone else can do that.

thanks everyone!!

i did my own version of the workout today. i did as many rounds of kipping pullups as i could then switched to "hang time."

1-1-1-22+20+33+33+42

tabata DU = 57 (PR'd with 16 in a row!!)

i vote for the second option (although, i would be OK with the first if that's what it ends up having to be). i do wonder if we picked the second option if everyone would still end up coming at the same time (5:15).

I had to hold on to the bar as long as I could until my arms were fully extended. The longest time I got was around 35 seconds.
