Take the words “genetic freak” out of your vocabulary and substitute the words “hard working, committed, and focused” and you will have removed one obstacle to doing things you never thought possible..
Lots of Vids on how to do this on the CrossFit Journal. http://journal.crossfit.com
Look up Olympic Lifting or Burgener.

super fun cashout today! this is the first time i was able to participate! bill, you were a great teammate! sorry i slowed us down there with my lack of preparedness at the beginning, having to take my glasses off, and not remembering how many situps we had to do. :)

The cashout was fun especially the 5 penalty pull ups...Sandy might have PR'ed today lifting me overhead to the bar!
See ya'll next week!
I have a guest from out of town this weekend and that means INSANE trail running too early in the a.m. to even be mentioned. Up for tomorrow's mileage: 25. Yikes! There WILL be some hiking I do believe :)

Great cash out - it was worth price of admission seeing Sandy and Anna P lift each other up for pull up penalties ;o)
strength and skunk pre-wod:
front squats from the ground (ie first "front squat" was a squat clean) with 140# every 2 min
5-4-3-3-3
then 10x24" box jumps on the min for 7 min
tried max snatch this morning but my shoulders were still smoked from gravy. i tried again tonight and had better success. 105 was my max. i failed on 110, but didn't try it a second time.

The cash-out was fun, 11:48 in a team with Schmu (spelling?)

I was SO glad to get 115. My PR is 120 and had hoped to beat that but I am very happy with 115. This has been a tough "shoulder" week. On the ones I missed, I was able to get the weight overhead but had a hard time stabilizing it.
I am looking forward to some skunk work tomorrow!
