My originaly thought, due to time management, was to run 100 meters and mulitiply the time by 16. I could save a lot of time and energy plus I would feel refreshed. Then the thought crossed my mind of seeing Cori with her and Dave's baby in her belly doing that wod yesterday. Afterwards I was convinced that I could easily run one mile even though less than 6 weeks prior I could not without stopping for a smoke, a drink and a piece of meatloaf (meemaws). I briskly walked for 500 meters and then set oout on a sub 10 pace. It felt very comfortable maybe a little too comfortable. I finished at 8:47 and was glad about it. I did have a little left in the tank but was glad to have a sub nine. In another 8 weeks my goal will be sub 7. Make sure you guys hold me accountable. Meemaws meatloaf sure would be good right now. Does anyone think I may be obsessing over meatloaf?

OOOEEEE! 8:47! HOLY SMOKES! Look at you John! I'm so proud of you! I have NO DOUBT that you can get that sub 7 in eight short weeks! I can't wait to see it!!!!!!

P.S. Once the challenge ends, I will personally reward you with one cheat meal of Meemaw's meatloaf....as long as Andrew tells me the recipe. :) Andrew? You gonna fork it over or what?

John's originaly thought, due to time management, was to run 100 meters and mulitiply the time by 16
I think you can squeeze in 800 times 2.

Drew- 6:01? WHAT? CONGRATS!!! HUGE PR for you. Dude-I had a 5:59. Amber/John-way to go! I better pick it up! Yes-my legs were TRASHED after Tabata! Good job everyone! Andrew- you are not allowed back in the gym without the recipe. I've seen to many posts about the meatloaf. Bring it man. We need the meatloaf!

I must say congrats to both Amber and Drew on fantastic runs!

I didn't have a 1 mile marked off, so I just ran 10 min (definitely covered a mile :) ) did a rope climb, push ups, and pull ups for good measure.
