As a last resort you can sub heavy dumbbell presses.

185lbs 6.30 - a 4 1/2 min PR over this exact date from last year. HSPUs really slowed me down with 2nd and 3rd sets. Was it planned to do this same WOD on the same date as last year? Surely it didn't just work out this way. It has to be the excellent coaching!

Great job early am crew. Sandy got her first two kipping HSPUs with one abmat only after some good pointers from Drew and Shane this morning.

Cynthia - 15:49 Rxish 21-15-9 DLs and 15-12-9 HSPU. I have never done more than 5 HSPUs Rx before today. I did not think I could do this workout. I reached for the abmat after the 7th HSPU and Cori told me no and took them away. Yep, she actually took them away from me and told me to just work. Lots of doubt, but I am so glad I did this workout and didn't stop because I REALLY wanted to stop. THANK YOU to all of you who cheered me on for the eternity that it took me to complete this. Judy, Libby, Brian, Brooke, Cori, Drew and Amber, seeing your faces staring at me when I was upside down was a real motivator not to miss another rep:)
