If you cannot do a MU, do 3:1 Muscle Up Progressions.

If you cannot do HSPU, do dumbell shoulder presses.

RX 1.5 pood - 3 rounds plus 1 muscle up (Ha! I spent the last 5 minutes+ trying to get that 8th MU!)
What a nice cool morning - bring on the Fall.

Where's all the Annas and Sam?

13 rounds rx
PR by 2+ rounds woohoo!
each round unbroken. i was on pace for 7 rounds at the half-way mark, so i didn't fall off pace by too much. shoulders are toast now.

Excellent Cori - what a way to start the week!

New Carportism courtesy of Cori :"most less"
= LEAST;o)

i read that is how they derived the word "least." less+most smashed together forms least. we never promised you good speaking skills with your membership. just good coaching. ;)

Shoot, I could never harass anyone over speaking skills-I can barely speak English myself. I'm collecting Carportisms for my next Carport T shirt, like mathleticism, squeeze the nickel and "it's a good one" just to mention a few.

hey everyone, i wanted to let you guys know that john lehman (typically attends the p.m. class with his girlfriend jennifer) has suddenly been deployed to afghanistan. here is an email from him:

I have been recently recalled to duty for service in Afghanistan. Barring any changes, I will spend the next six weeks at Camp Pendleton California for pre-deployment workups and will then deploy with my team in early to-mid October for a seven-month tour in-country.

we have his contact information, but mainly let's keep him, his family and jennifer in our thoughts and prayers. i believe this is very sudden, so let's lift jennifer up during this time.

My right AC joint is tweak-ish... May let tomorrow be upper body rest and do an early am run. 6-8 miles...Anyone wanna go, let me know.

Speaking of "English", I heard someone reference Vibram 5 fingers as "The Most Minimal" shoe you could buy...LOL

Hate to miss this morning - sickness has taken over the whole Powell household.

Definitely sending thoughts & prayers for John and Jennifer!

Definitely will do! We'll be asking the Lord for protection for John and his fellow soldiers and much wisdom as they perform their duties day to day and for a great reunion back here in 7 months with Jennifer and family. John, we are greatful for you and your willingness to go on behalf of this great Country!

Told ya.. I meant grateful not greatful;0)

Cynthia:
7 rounds + 6 MPU and 4 HSPU's. I swung a 44lb KB. My big accomplishment is doing KIPPING HSPU's to only one small folded mat. Definitely a PR. Thanks for the instruction Coach Cori! I also realized that I wasn't doing MPU's as they should be done the last time I ran Nate. As Cori said, it was an "a-ha" moment for me. Again - thanks!
