Football Flashback

For time:
150 Push Ups
*Every time you stop and rest with your chest on the ground this constitutes a penalty. If a penalty is counted, you must immediately sprint 40 yards. Once the penalty is completed continue with the push ups.

*You can rest in a pike position (the top of a push up) but once you can not do push ups any longer and need to rest on the ground, a penalty is counted and a 40 yard sprint must be completed.

Post times and number of penalties to comments. Compare to 7/12/11.

I see I'm the first one to comment this morning. That must be because everyone else's arms must be hanging limp and unusable by their sides. My hands are shaking badly as I type this. Great WOD. Think I did 13:twenty something... can't remember ...I'm still a little fuzzy..

12:43 or 53...can't really remember. i know it was really hard, especially after the ring dips i did yesterday.

then i did an amrap of snatches and box jumps followed by max snatch. and guess what!? i snatched 120 again! my last attempt at 125, i got under it, but could stick the landing. oooooh, but i'm so excited! to get 120 with all of those pushups and ring dips and 75# snatches before it! i can FEEL that body weight is not far away!!!!!!! woohoo!!!!!!!!

*that should read "couldn't stick the landing"

also did 6x26# turkish getups then 6x35# turkish getups. i want to try to do these at least once a week.

wow! i just realized that is THE JOSH...as in THE JOSH that i did a testout with and is a new member at carport! wow!

sorry, josh....i'm the WORST about football. good thing i coach crossfit and not football. :)

I did 75 push ups and ran 20 yards... So bacicaly I halved the work out.

15-10-5-5-all other splits were 7, 8, or 10's. I am VERY pleased with my time. So surprised to be sub 10. Next time I should run faster 40's.

At first, I was bummed about my time, especially because BILL MYERS destroyed me. Then, I looked at what I did one year ago: 19:20. That's the beauty of Crossfit - do the work, stay with it and you'll get results!!!
