standing press = push or not?
standing press is a strict shoulder press. no push. however during the amrap it is a push jerk or push press. in addition, during the max effort, the bar can come from rack. during the amrap, though, the bar must be cleaned from the ground to complete the 5 jerks.

PR YAY! last year, i did 85# and only got 9'ish rounds. also, yesterday, i did an amrap with shoulder press and c2b pullups, so i think i might, maybe, just maybe, could've gotten 100#+ on the shoulder press if i hadn't done that yesterday.

With 45#s and sit-ups instead of toes to bar you could have done 30 rounds! It was great to be back and to have such a huge group this morning!

Thanks Drew for cueing me on how to set my breath. It's been a long time since I've seen triple digits on the press. Making that lift was my biggest accomplishment at the gym tonight!
