ground to shoulder simply means get the bar from the ground position to the front rack position. you can do that any way you see fit. so you can deadlift it, then hang power clean it. or you can power clean it straight from the ground. or if you need to squat clean it b/c it's so heavy, then that's ok too.
I got better at the cleans each round. They were surprisingly heavy 1st round! 2nd round I got into a good rhthym and was able to put some together. 3rd round unbroken. Yay!

also, the night crew did awesome! judy busted it out! rachel went heavy at 95#! david decided to ditch iron beach tonight and give us a try! (hope we didn't let him down) ;) and dave went rx! great class!!!!

For every 10 pounds you lower the ground to shoulder weight, add 1 minute to your time.
ie. 135# = 2min added to total time
crap! i wrote 5 ground to shoulder on the board last night....hope dave catches that. :\
