In honor of Navy Lieutenant Michael McGreevy, 30, of Portville, NY, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28.

With heavy hearts we offer our prayers and condolences to his wife, Laura, and 14-month-old daughter, Molly.

The price of freedom, and its worth, is found in Michael�s passing. The debt owed to Michael and his family can never be repaid but only honored by remembering Michael and remaining free.

It is very easy to "pose" in the sand but very difficult to move quickly. Haha

For those that won't be in the gym this week, if you are still participating in the burpee challenge, here is what you should do on a daily basis:

Wed 11/24 - 21 burpees
Thurs 11/25 - 22 burpees
Fri 11/26 - 23 burpees
Sat 11/27 - 24 burpees
Sun 11/28 - 25 burpees
OR if you miss all of these days, you will need to do 115 burpees on Monday plus the prescribed 26 for a total of 141. :)

I know that I'm going to keep up with mine! I'd rather not do 115+26 burpees on Monday.

ALSO, please remember that there is NO 4:30 p.m. class today! I will be there at 5:30 p.m. to run the wod.

ed, is the 40 situps a typo? if not, i'm confused...

and what can i sub for situps? i really don't want to do 50 knees to elbows...that doesn't seem very fair. however drew will probably say that if i'm all about fitness then i should suck it up and do the 50 k2e. but i'll pull a dave and say "I'm racing tomorrow, so I don't want to be too sore." :)

oooooooooooooooooooo.....that's a good challenge andrew! i love it! and i'm fairly confident he'll accept.

i challenge all of the carport members to keep moving over the holiday! you don't have to dread coming back to the gym on monday! keep your eating in check after thursday; keep moving friday, saturday and sunday; and then monday will be a breeze!
