I'm so glad I could do this today!!!! I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get the bar around my belly but I was! Snatches are my favorite lift. This was really fun and I did better than I expected. :) 85# Muscle snatch 110# Power Snatch 115# Squat Snatch (did not squat to depth)
It was good to have a personal skillz coach this morning. Not my best # 's but better 1st position. That the Crossfit METCON can get me away from. Not that I am going to cut down my METCON(because that is what I have grown to love ) but in increase my position work because that is what I need. :)
I got the "Drew Look" before being declared a "Stripper Butt" today....and I am pretty sure neither of those are positive. Mind and body were not in sync this morning. 115, 125, 125. On a positive note...No Cartwheels!!!
Eddie I know when athletes wait till I am looking away before they lift they know something is not right So knowing is half the battle :) Sorry about the stripper comment I should have been more pro and talked about the hips and shoulders coming up at the same till the knees are clear. But it just came out my brain and mouth were not in sync :) U will be more focused on the 1st pull with that in your mind. I sure am because that is my #1 problem. I have to fix that. So I can move on to problem #2
i did 5x100m sprints. rest about 5 min then yesterday's wb wod with the 20# ball - 102 reps. rest about 5 min then 48 burpee pistols for the burpee to baby "d" challenge. i was only supposed to do 45, but got crossfit brain in the middle of them. doh!
my legs are trashed and that was what i was looking for. :) hopefully i'll do this wod tomorrow during open gym.
p.s. nice job amber! 115# at 7.5 mo pregnant is sweet! wish i had a vid of it!
