Pack 115lbs - 7 reps +1
Eddie was smokin' today! We started out even and he continually eased on ahead. Way to go Eddie!
I'd rather throw the 20lb slam ball any day, it's easier to handle (not easier to throw) - but I couldn't negotiate it into my contract this morning. I'll have to get you to write these things up for me ahead of time P so that they are air tight before I present them.
Bill is waaaay toooo kind. My Toes to Bar were more on the line of Feet(s) off Mat. Thanks for the encouragement and thanks for the coaching Cori. 115@ 7+2.
55# 8 rds + 3
Subbed T2B for leg raises
Hate I'm missing all these WODS! This week is crazy hours at work. Gonna do what I can at home and of course those burpees to baby. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and see you all next week! Tracey
Pretty happy with my Porch. 5+3
75# Power cleans
14# wall ball
This is the first time I've thrown 14# wall balls and as much as I claim that I hate wall balls, I've improved. I suppose when you spend less time and energy hating something and more time working it, that's bound to happen.
You can still hate it and keep working on it.....snatches for instance
Bill:
I'll be happy to write it up, but my hourly rate is pretty high. Maybe you should just do what the coaches tell ya'. Ha Ha!!
I'm on the "use the slam ball as a wall ball" bandwagon as well.
Do what the coaches say? And take all the fun out of the negotiating possibilities? I look at it as a personal challenge.
Actually I think negotiating enhances the overall Carport experience. Without it Carport would be like aunt Jemimah pancakes without the syrup or like the Iron Bowl weekend without the chance of an upset.
i told y'all that you could use the slammers if you threw the 30s. And Stacey, ditto for you if you throw the 20. I'm all up for negotiations
20# wall ball via slams eh? I guess it's true what they say... "Everything is negotiable".
I did 45# cleans, 14# wall balls. I got six rounds even with toes to bar to boot. Woo hoo!
Way to go Tonya! Good job on the TTB! It feels good to have that behind you doesn't it?....as opposed to just starting the WOD about now with the 5:30 pm class;0) Love it
I did hear you say that this morning Cori and I thought 'dang, that didn't go very well'....and then I realized the problem....there was no yawning this morning.
9 rds + 13 reps rx, wallballs to 10' mark
do not take robitussin before doing crossfit.
Congratulations Cynthia on that mile! Holy moly!
Thanks Cori for doing that WOD. I would haven't done it without you. 20 minute'ers are always intimidating to me, but this one was much more tolerable than I remember!
Power cleans unbroken,
T2B rds 1-4: UB, rds 5-9: 6/4, rd 10:5/3/2
Wall balls to 10' UB except for a couple wacky throws. No stopping on account of fatigue! WB's actually felt easy. That is a first!
10rds+1 power clean - PR!!
65#, 5+20
Nice job to everybody! Lots of firsts and PRs! I sat out this WOD and ran a mile instead. Thanks Amber for running it with me! 6:57- PR by :17. Also did 5x5 front squats 120#.
11+1
Wall ball mishap! that's a riot...
Agree w/ Stacey: "wall ball mishap" is too funny.
