CrossFit Games Open 11.4


Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of
60 Bar-facing burpees
120 pound Overhead squat, 30 reps
10 Muscle-ups

Cherie Chan 0 rounds + 5 muscle-ups (90lbs, 95 reps), Rory McKernan 0 rounds + 4 muscle-ups (94 reps)
Post rounds and reps completed to comments and/or register and submit your results as part of the CrossFit Games Open. Compare to 4/14/11.

90lbs - 60 burrrrpees + 17 OHS = 77 reps.

At 30 burpees otb I thought ..'excellent I'm halfway' but the next ten took almost as long as the first 30;0{

That was another hum dinger.

Brooke - Sorry to hear you took a lower back zinger yesterday. I did exactly the same thing last Friday for the 2nd time. I've found that two days full rest plus 2 plain cake Dunkin Donuts (with a glass of full fat milk) once a day are the fix.
Hope you are mended up quickly!

Dunkin' Donuts is THE Bomb! Lemon filled are my weakness, but I actually like their coffee!

Great job Kista! Those burpees were a killer! We all pretty much started with the pvc- if you aim at nothin' you'll hit it every time...you're making great progress. You'll be throwing big weight in no time.

Started mu at 8:50, one at a time with long arms.
That was tough and i was worried for a minute i wouldnt get to the mu.

I'm a krispy creme girl myself.

Anyone doing Mercedes, either as Full, Half or possibly interested in a relay?

Can I run just 1 mile of the relay? If so I may be in.

BTW CJs...anyone who really knows their donuts knows that krispy kremes are nothing more than a sugared down treat for small children.

Stacey - I assume the relay would be greater than one mile increments. If so, I am probably out:)

BTW - this WOD sounds mostly awful. Good job everybody!

This wod is not really that bad Cynthia. The worst part may be the burpees. In my case my nemesis is anything overhead particlarly overhead squats. Because of that I had little hope of making it thru 30 reps with 90 lbs. You shouldn't have any difficulty.

BTW-did you notice the pic for this wod? See who is standing and watching on the men's team and who is rowing? Dr Robert rowed 1500 of our 2000 meters. He went right to the top of my hero list.

Relay segments as follows:
The distances for each leg are approximately (1) 6.05 miles, (2) 2.95 miles, (3) 6.05 miles, (4) 3.05 miles, (5) 8.10 miles.

Cynthia - Did MOD WOD because of my arm - it is better, but still not great. OHS at 45# and burpees, no muscle ups or progressions. 85 burpees and 30 OHS.

Jonathan - pack - 95# - 90 + 2 MUPs.
