Drew and Amber - I am so happy for you. The new location is shall we say, perfect. Let me know if you need anything or anyone if you have to do any work on the building. Congratulations.

A large chunk of the Myer clan came by our house today for a lovely morning outdoor WOD. We warmed up with arm circles and planks in 3 planes for 1 min. each...played around with some Turkish get ups, and then for a WOD we did
5 rounds of
pushups/situps/air squats.

We "played" on the rings, the rope climb and pull up bar and were shown up by Abigail the 2 year old, who can swing those rings like nobody's business!
A fun time was had by all!

On Friday Jonathan and I decided to run the Carport 5K. It was my first 5K and Jonathan very thoughtfully hung back and ran with me. I clearly need some new gear for running any distance. All sorts of things didn't feel right, but I finished without stopping. 28:22. Thanks Jonathan!

Miss everyone and hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I'm so happy for our Crossfit Coaches that the plan for the new building played out smooth - looking forward to all the creative WOD's we'll be doing there! Today I did a round of 21/15/9 dead lifts plus air squats then practiced HSPU's. Please everyone say a prayer that Julio settles in with his new family. He is doing a sleepover this week and if all goes well he will have his own forever home.

Yay Julio!!!! We'll all keep our paws crossed!

Go Julio!

I managed a 4-5 mile hike at the new Coldwater Mtn. bike trail. We were going to ride bikes but I had an equipment malfunction. The trails there are awesome and we met one of the guys who maintain/develop the trail system... he said they are about to add 5 more miles (there are already 10). Czech it out at: http://www.neabc.org/coldwater-mountain-bike-trail-project.htm
