On the bright side, rope climbing is definitely better..

184 = Wall balls 81. Ball slams 76. DUs 27 (ha-what a joke-this really hurt my numbers...i think i need a double unders boot camp). Now Sheena on the other hand is at Carport for like a week and bam! She's doing DUs like a pro.

I'll check Amazon...I think I saw a Double Unders for Dummies book that I need to order. But most likely the problem is my rope....right Cori?

Almost forgot 20lb wallball and 20lb slam ball. Not that it really makes any difference;0(

Alright PEEPS.....so, how about a nutrition challenge? Start date for the gym would be July 30 ending on September 17, which is an 8 week challenge. Pick your poison....Paleo or Zone or Paleo Zone! Nutrition seminar on both Paleo and Zone, if anyone is interested on Saturday, July 28, or if Saturday doesn't work, we could do a Wednesday night possibly? Please comment here if you are interested.

My idea for the challenge is as follows:
We will do before/after photos plus measurements. Each participant will contribute $20 into the pot. There will be a male and female winner at the end of the challenge (if we have enough participants....if we don't, we will have only one winner) that will split the cash. Winner will be chosen on aesthetics, measurements and on most improved in the gym. Coaches are not eligible for the prize.

REMEMBER YOU CAN NEVER OUT-TRAIN A BAD DIET!!!!!!

Clearly the problem with double unders is the rope! Save me a picture or two to color in that book, Bill!

It was great to meet some of the morning gang at the party yesterday afternoon!

Well, that is the worst I have felt after a WOD in a very long time. I think what did me in was the rope climb (all the way to the top-yay!) and the 2 sleds I pushed. Anyway - my numbers: 14# WB & 20# SB
WB - 25/22/20/20 = 87
SB - 30/26/25/25 = 106
DU 23/26/25/37 = 111
Total - 304

Jonathan -
WB 85
SB 77
DU's that became singles 103
Total - 265

Jonathan and I are in the on the challenge and are starting today. What measurements do we take?

cynthia, when we do nutrition challenges, we have a start date with photos and measurements taken at the gym by the coaches. we have a form we use. if you want to go ahead and do the chest, waist, hips if you are starting today on your own, feel free, and we will do measurements at the gym also around the official start of the challenge.

20# WB/30# BS

88WB/72BS/62DU = 222

Clearly, until I can string together successive DU's I will never score in a DU WOD. Very disappointing!

Loved pushing the sled. Looking forward to sled pushing WOD's

That was the second hardest WOD for me, ever. First being, of course, FRAN.

14 lb wb, 20 lb slam ball, singles
42/54/197 = 293

The rope climbs for cash-out were redemptive

WB 14# (25,25,23,25) = 98
BS 20# (30,25,20,19) = 94
DU (70,64,50,40) = 224

That was so tough! I went out hard round 1, kinda coasted on the ball slams hoping to make more reps on the du. I can't believe I lost by 3 reps! Dang!! Haha. I purposefully did not look at Cori's score until after I did the WOD. Next time I'll do less breathing and more double Unders!
I had SO much fun working out with my girls this morning. They did great and actually did all four rounds!

Brooke 187
WB 4# (20,11,14,14) = 59
BS 8# (17,15,13,9) = 54
singles (24,23,15,12) = 74

Clara 172
WB 4# (9,9,4,14) = 36
BS 5# (14,14,13,15) = 56
Singles (20,20,15,25) = 80
