went to my first spin class at the jcc today. i sweated a lot. my heartrate increased a little. quads burned some. but the whole time, i was wondering how i was doing in comparison to the other people and if i was kicking their butts or not. hm....spin class definitely ain't crossfit!

I know right! After about a month I just got bored with Spin. Of course at my gym some of the instructors tended to repeat the same workout.

I love Spin class, but you gotta have a great instructor. One of the best ever for me was Naomi at the YMCA... a track and field athlete from Kenya. She was relentless.

WOD score 65 jumping pullups, 37 pushups, 80 situps, 60 squats, total 242.
