Games WOD - 4

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of
60 Bar-facing burpees
120 pound Overhead squat, 30 reps
10 Muscle-ups

Cherie Chan 0 rounds + 5 muscle-ups (90lbs, 95 reps), Rory McKernan 0 rounds + 4 muscle-ups (94 reps)
Post rounds and reps completed to comments and/or register and submit your results as part of the CrossFit Games Open.

Pack:

75-90 pound Overhead squat, 30 reps
10 Muscle-ups

Women - 45-55 Pounds

Puppies:
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
60 Bar-facing burpees
10-20 pound Overhead squat, 30 reps
10 Muscle-ups

**** Today if you are unable to do muscle ups use the remainder of your time to practice progressions.  These will not count towards your rep total.

68 total. 60 burpees and 8 OHS. But, 8 OHS @ 120 is a PR for me, so I'm fairly pleased.

Got through burpees in under 5 min (just thought of Drew telling me to do one more) just couldn't get through OHS. Oh well, I'll be stronger next year.

great job will! how were the ohs after doing all those burpees? i was able to snatch and ohs 90# yesterday, but i'm not sure how it will be after all of those burpees.

60 Burpees + 16 95# OHS

We worked on deadhang pullups after the WOD - I was able to get 3 from the 8' bar.

The burpees are taxing, but if I could handle the weight, it would have been ok, I think. It definitely makes it more difficult, but I think the key to those burpees is pacing. I felt pretty good after them. Just can't OHS 120# very much.

thanks for the advice will! i was thinking the same thing on the burpees...just keep moving at a steady pace instead of blowing it out of the water at the beginning.

great job to the morning crew! i saw your numbers on the board when i went down to the gym this morning! post any advice you feel might help those doing the games wod tonight! :)

"Jack is 5. He has been watching me Crossfit @ Crossfit Proper since 2009. He learned this by watching and never asked about handstands. I was the most proud father to get this bench slip. No words to explain it. Happy birthday Jack!"

I did the burpees and OHS and attempted a muscle up. haha

I am glad to get all 90 reps. Everyone that gets muscle ups after all that is a champ in my book. Wow!

got 24 ohs.
will run this saturday (i need drew to coach me through it...drew, will you be there?) so i can get all 30. i had no rest pattern. i rested a while off the burpees. could've done things differently, but i am definitely not looking forward to having to do it again. wish i would've gotten all 30 ohs this time around.
