6 x's 400 today. 1:18, 1:20,1:19, 1:24, 1:25:,1:18.

Speedwork today is to prepare for the 5k fall races, or just to become a better runner.

Listen up everyone-if you would like to come out for a fast walk pace or run as fast as you can this clinic is for you. It's part of your membership at the gym. Use it. Speedwork will benefit ALL levels of running/walking. It's huge part of Crossfit.

I should also follow up with I have checked the other crossfit gyms in town and we are the only one offering speedwork as part of the training. I firmly beleive that if you do not like to run then you need to be the first one there and the last one to leave. I used to not like the weights because they were my weakness. The crossfit weight moves were an unfamilar motion and it's normal for people to shy away from what is not in their comfort zone. Time has passed and I am improving every month. Last Saturday I worked on my snatch only. Reps over and over until I got comfortable. Please make plans to come out next Sunday morning if at all possible. This is very important to your overall fitness level.
