Every morning in Africa, an antelope wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion, or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest antelope, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or an antelope - when the sun comes up, you'd better be running

Dave, thanks for coaching. This WOD is like a "before" picture for me. It is ugly and humbling. Haha I am excited to see how my running improves and am so thankful to have a running coach!

You did great Amber and Autumn! Speed work is so important for all areas of fitness. Jogging long distance is good but to maximize your ability you must run intervals.

how much rest between rounds? 3 min? or as long as it took for you to run the 800?

I have done some hard wods but this was classic high intensity interval training. I feel or think I am faster already.

Dave tried 3 different 800 meters and determined the out and back might be long.
