65lbs - those last two minutes sitting in the bottom with the bar overhead were quite the whoooeee challenge. On the up side I think our snatches are improving with all the snatch work. Great job A.M.ers.
It was fun training with the a.m.'ers today! Boy, going from mid hang takes some thinkin'! I had to really concentrate to make those lifts, especially the muscle snatch. I made all the lifts at 75#. Tabata DU: (206) 33-26-27-24-28-28-25-15(flat)
I know I have been MIA and may or may not make it in this week bc of a crazy work schedule with events late each might.
But to your question yesterday, Bill. We are moving out of town...to Mobile. Essentially as soon as we sell our house. Good news - Robert got a huge promotion! Bad news - we will sincerely miss our Carport family. A lot..,a whole lot. I wanted to tell y'all at class but I haven't been able to get in the past few days.
I may see y'all Wednesday and Thursday..,if not, next week back to full blast!
Sorry to read that Anna but congratulations to you and Robert. How will I keep my pace now? 65#'s this am and my best single unders. Will have doubles by the end of February!
I am so sad to hear this about Robert and Anna...I love coaching both of you, I love chatting with Anna about our toddlers in the morning, and I love having to break up Robert's chitchat during the buyin at night. ;) But, even though you will be missed, I am very happy that you have been given this awesome opportunity. You will make us proud, no matter where you train!
35# - it was good to get in some weight skill work. Struggled with the muscle snatch but hopefully it will improve. Last 3 minutes of sitting in the bottom of the OHS was a killer!

Man did it feel good to be back! #35 & it was ugly a couple times, tho coach Drew said my power snatch was my best move.
