CrossFit Games Open 11.3

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 5 minutes of:
165 pound Squat clean
165 pound Jerk
-then-
10 min Handstand Practice. Spend majority of the time inverted. You may practice walking on your hands, free-standing handstands, or handstands against the wall.

Puppies:
Scale the weight to something you can do 10-15 reps with. This should be heavy, BUT you should still move through the required range of motion.

115lbs 25 reps total

65# for 18 total reps. Not many reps, but my max clean and jerk is 70#, so I was pretty happy all the same.

55# 30 reps total.
My ability to clean vs. jerk, weight ratio kept the weight down on this one.

I enjoyed the handstand practice.

Cynthia- since these movements are what put me on the DL, I tried to mostly work on good form and avoid further injury:) #75, 39 reps.
I was "keeping it close" on my last jerk attempt. I just about knocked myself out by hitting myself in the chin with the bar. I was channeling my training buddy Brooke since she has been out of commission. Much love!

BTW congrats and well done to Drew, Amber and Cori for a teriffic showing for the Carport yesterday at the Brad Hawley Invite at Lynn Park. You all make us proud to be CJs!

(That has me looking forward to the day when they have the "Sorry Old Folks" invite).

Iron Tribe has a free iPhone app (ITF on the go). The final results are there if you want to see the final place standings. I do not know where to see the results from each WOD, or if they have posted those at all. I hope they do! I would like to see everyone's scores, too. If they send a link to the scores, I will post it to the blog.
