i'm still holding on strong with this nutrition challenge! we went to the movies last night, and i didn't have any popcorn, candy, soda, nothin'! however i did sneak in a bottle of water and protein bar as my "treat." :)
one week to go people!

on another note, next sunday is the "fitness festival" following the rubben studdard half marathon. it is a crossfit competition. the wods were released yesterday, and they are VERY do-able for all of our athletes. i would LOVE to see some of you guys compete! if you want details, let me know! if you don't compete, at least come out and support those that do! it will be a good time fo sho!

wod#1 (chipper)
-run 150m
-40 thrusters 75#m/55#f (4 burpee penalty everytime you set the bar down)
-80ft OHwalkinglunge 45#m/25#f (4 burpee penalty as above)
-40 kb swings which the weight wasn't specified, but i'm assuming -1.5 pood Male/1 pood female (4 burpee penalty as above)
-firemans carry of your kb 80 ft (4 burpee penalty)
-40 sdhp with kettlebell (4 burpee penalty)
-run 150m to finish
*Each person will have a chip timer

wod #2
3 min to establish max ground to overhead
1 min transition to next station
3 min max cal row (ie, max calories pulled in 3 min)
1 min transition
3 min max rep box jump 24"/20" (must stand on top of box, cannot jump off and have hip extension in air.)
1 min transition
3 min max pushups games standards
*total weight on ground to overhead, plus cals, plus reps is your score.
