10:50, 55#sdhp I was going for sub 10 but had 4 misses on c2b the last round. That was a really good wod. I am happy to report my sdhp's were unbroken. Those used to be so hard for me. As I was doing them today I thought about how good they were for oly lifts.
i just want my morning peeps to know that the midterm last week that i thought i made a 50 on....i made a 90! hahahahahahah! i'm currently doing the happy dance as many rounds as possible for 15 minutes!
also, ill post a nutritional challenge tip of the day a little later this afternoon.
ya'll are not going to believe this but i got a 94 on my linear algebra midterm! insane! all of that studying paid off!
nutrition tip of the day
it's that time of year for the fall squashes to be in season! yay! i LOVE butternut squash, spaghetti squash, pumpkin, all of them! take advantage of these southern seasonal veggies. one of my favorites is roasted diced butternut squash. it's sometimes difficult to cook, but once you figure out a little trick to soften it before dicing, it becomes a breeze to prepare. season it with a little sea salt, cumin and cinnamon, and you have a delicious veggie side dish! the bonus is that it has the consistency of potatoes and the almost-sweetness of the sweet potato....all while remaining paleo. it has 20g of carbohydrates per cup!
if you would like this recipe in detailed format or a recipe for a delicious pumpkin sausage soup (also paleo), shoot me an email! i'll be glad to pass them along!
stay strong on the challenge! we're over 1/5th of the way through!
