I can't wait to work on this tonight! This is one move that I struggled with on balance and coordination. After getting a lot of coaching and practice it feels a lot more natural. This is one example of the importance of correct form and good technique.

This is fun! I had to REALLY commit to getting under the bar. The heavier I went, the closer my HSB looked like an OHS. I am going to work on it some more tonight, focusing more on catching the weight low.
Lynn rocked it! She was able to OHS 20lbs more than she could last week. Talk about balance and coordination! That's awesome!

the snatch balance will definitely increase your full squat snatch if you do it on a consistent basis. that's how i increased my max...it helps to find that sticking point that you need when taking the barbell from the ground into the overhead position in the full snatch movement.

p.s. i LOVE the snatch! (and i will refrain from any and all snatch jokes...for today.)

Well I ran with a faster athlete Sun ,Dave. I got to train with a stronger athlete tonight , Eric.

It looks like it is going to be a good week for the push. my "wheel house" is in there somewhere, we are the programmers .
