I might have been just popping off about no more coaches beating me @ the Carport. but i got till Sunday
ReplyDeleteEating dinner with a group of Amish volunteers framing one of our homes in Pleasant Grove. Will have to run this Friday. It's going to ruin my golf swing Saturday. HaHa
ReplyDelete64 reps Masters RX...gotta love that scaling. Us old folks have earned it ;0)
ReplyDeleteDrew you better watch that popping off to the other coaches... Cori was throwing 100 lbs around this morning like it was two buckwheat pancakes on that bar.
Tough little guys. Check this video out

ReplyDeletebill and sandy showed UP this morning! woot! soooooooo proud of them!!!!!
Not going to make this one, got a gimpy calf.
ReplyDeleteI have to get a new Snatch PR by 15pounds just to move to the second set of 30! This will be interesting. Any advice Drew?
ReplyDeletePuma, come to the 5:30 class to start warming up. WOD at 6:30.
ReplyDeleteI snatched 115# - a 10# PR!!!
When this wod came out I was really discouraged because my shoulders have been giving me so much trouble. But I went ahead a nd gave it a shot and I am so glad I did - 72 REPS! I spent atleast 45 min warming up. I started off doing pvc mobility stuff, burgerner warm-up, high pulls, etc. Then I did it all again with the 15# bar, then the 25# bar, then the regular 45# bar. After that I worked my way up to new PR weight. All that skill work really paid off in the WOD.
30@45# - 1:15 (unbroken)
30@75# - 2:00-5:05 (sets of 5's)
12@100# - 6:05-10:00 (singles)
Look at the Leaderboard ASAP!!
ReplyDeleteBill is currently 2nd place in the world and I am 1st in Southeast. These place standings may not last long so see them while you can!
That's Awesome! Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteMine will last no longer than 5:30 when the big dogs...Kelly and David P get crankin out the big numbers.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Amber!
Can y'all believe Kelly used the old "eating dinner with the Amish" excuse to get out of today's WOD?!
ReplyDelete43 Rx
ReplyDelete135# is a whole different ballgame than 75#
35 RX and, yes Paul, 135# IS a whole different ball game than 75#! New PR for me; previous was 120#.
