68 total. 60 burpees and 8 OHS. But, 8 OHS @ 120 is a PR for me, so I'm fairly pleased.
ReplyDeleteGot through burpees in under 5 min (just thought of Drew telling me to do one more) just couldn't get through OHS. Oh well, I'll be stronger next year.
great job will! how were the ohs after doing all those burpees? i was able to snatch and ohs 90# yesterday, but i'm not sure how it will be after all of those burpees.

ReplyDeleteWe worked on deadhang pullups after the WOD - I was able to get 3 from the 8' bar.
That picture on the main site is funny Cori (or sad depending on what class it was)
ReplyDeleteThe burpees are taxing, but if I could handle the weight, it would have been ok, I think. It definitely makes it more difficult, but I think the key to those burpees is pacing. I felt pretty good after them. Just can't OHS 120# very much.
ReplyDeletethanks for the advice will! i was thinking the same thing on the burpees...just keep moving at a steady pace instead of blowing it out of the water at the beginning.

I am glad to get all 90 reps. Everyone that gets muscle ups after all that is a champ in my book. Wow!

ReplyDeletewill run this saturday (i need drew to coach me through it...drew, will you be there?) so i can get all 30. i had no rest pattern. i rested a while off the burpees. could've done things differently, but i am definitely not looking forward to having to do it again. wish i would've gotten all 30 ohs this time around.
