FOOTBALL FRIDAY - "QUARTER GONE BAD"


Five rounds for total reps of:

135 pound Thrusters, 15 seconds
Rest 45 Seconds
50 pound Weighted pull-ups, 15 seconds
Rest 45 Seconds
Burpees, 15 seconds
Rest 45 Seconds

Post total reps to comments. Compare to 9/17/10 and 10/21/11.

thrusters 6-6-5-5-5=27
pullups 3-4-4-4-4=19
burpees 7-7-7-7-7=35
total=81

dang if everytime i got 7.5 burpees. i was always on my belly at the 15 sec mark, so in rounds 4 and 5 i got smart and just stopped trying for that 8th burpee.
my shoulders are S-M-O-K-E-D! they haven't felt like this in a really long time!

Bill, your absence was was duly noted this morning... And I meant to mention the other day that I sure miss Sandy!
Meanwhile
Overdid it on the weight selection... started with 65# and got a big fat 0 on first round of thruster's. Dropped down to 55# (guess I was being too ambitious but hey!)
after that, I think I totaled 18 thrusters/20 pullups (5lb weights)/35 burpees.
Total 73
Best part of today-
Stacey made it to the top of the rope climb. I still had a minute or so left but I was too busy shaking from my fear of heights to dare try again...I had to close my eyes for the last 2 pulls on the rope but I made it!

Way to go Stacey!!! That is a double accomplishment. I think I totaled 79 with 95# and jumping pull-ups.

Thanks for the reminder, Puma! I was so tired when i left the gym last night I didnt even think about putting yesterday's scores on the blog. My apologies!! They are on there now but we do not have a pic of Wednesday's board.
