11:26RX - You never had anything to fear Cori - I knew going in I couldn't even get within spittin distance of a 6:58...well done! By the way a Wednesday WOD was Sandy's idea not mine. Now my Elite Masters Training Schedule will be all messed up.
nice job bill! i'm glad sandy was able to talk you into ditching your master's training plan!
i heard there were a lot of people at the a.m. class....smart b/c it's gonna be HOT today! ya'll hydrate if you're coming to the gym tonight!

hey anna, where's robert been?
He should be back tonight. He was out the week before last because I was traveling for work and he had to fly solo with Harding and then our family vacation last week. Then he was a bit sick Monday & Tuesday. So now he is all better and ready to get back after two weeks off!
Hate I missed it.. Still working through nasty morning headaches.
Running 5 at the Trak Shak tonight... Anyone?
i am SO super bummed that i missed this morning. apparently i turned my alarms off this morning. boooo.
cori, i need some advice. should i do the WOD tonight and speed work tomorrow night? or just skip this WOD and just do speed work tonight? my fear with doing the WOD tonigh and speed tomorrow is that depending what tomorrow mornings WOD is my legs could be toast by the time i get around to speed work tomorrow afternoon. if that didn't just confuse the heck out of you, what are your thoughts?
i say do the speedwork tonight and do your regularly scheduled wod in the morning. karen will definitely poop out your legs. and if you just can't resist, come in saturday and make up karen.
scratch my comment about the track. i went ahead and did my speedwork on the dreadmill at the jcc. my running partner, aka dave, had to do his intervals this morning, so i decided to go ahead and get it over with indoors since there is a heat advisory this afternoon. dave called me a wimp. :/
mile 1: 8:42
mile 2: 8:25
mile 3: 8:34
i hate running on the treadmill but i hate the threat of dying of heat exhaustion a little more. i'm not too stoked about those times but at least they're under 9's. :)
5:56, 6# ball to 10.5ft
I chose a wallball i could throw to the target without being tempted to come up on my toes. Whew, my shoulders were burnin'!
Skill Work:
5 rounds of 10 TTB, 10 HSPU
I did not time that but did each set unbroken. I am trying to get faster at HSPU so I really focused on a quick kip.
Soon Crestwood Park opens back up... has the track of course but also... all kinds of "fun" concrete things to jump on.. and there are rings in the playground.
