  2. rx 95 lbs 14.53 (with full squat on c&j = PURPLE STAR!...Coach was in a magnanimous mood this a.m.....not that it is uncharacteristic of him but I'll take a star - a PURPLE one at that - on the rare occasion when I can get one.)

BTW crossfit IS for peeps over 35. It can help ensure that they make it to 95.....think LONGEVITY. All things in moderation.

  3. Well Bill I had to look the word (magnanimous ) up in the dictionary and I am in agreement. Some times that can get me into trouble in classes with( on the ramp ) athelets. But you guys are master pros :) and know your limits. The purple star is most definitely earned not given that star put a few minutes on my time :) but worth the work

  4. I know Shane is on the bubble for the 35+ Crossfit athelets, but he get a hold on a few more skills and I can sell tickets to the "amphitheater" ( inside enlightenment ) not to be confused with a inside joke !

  5. This morning was an awesome workout and great "aha" moment for me on the Squat Cleans. The jerks are still push presses but with a few more coaching sessions with Drew and Cori, they will be conquered soon.

Did the workout with 185#s and finished in 14:25

    Ran 2 miles afterwards.

Carport-they are in the business of removing ceilings!

  7. OK - I'll throw down the gauntlet and challenge the Carport. I will sign up for the Whole Life Challenge tomorrow if at least FIVE (5) other Carporters, not presently registered, will sign up!! C'mon Carporters; I need the extra incentive to pay attention to what I eat.

  9. I loved doing the WLC last time around but I am not sure I can make it work right now given that the kitchen is in boxes and we are knee deep in the process of moving (what a beast!)

Are there levels this time around (some being less strict than others?)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Jen I am glad you asked:)
There are 3 levels of strictness but none that call HONEY acceptable. To much of an insulin response. It is not strict paleo
The beginner looks like a fast from soda
There are some levels posted on Carport Crossfit face book page

  16. I am glad my legs are broke in good for the 100 squat cleans the purple star athletes are at an advantage with the extra practice ( Shane sarcasm ) :)
The work was hard today I know I heard "it is only 10 reps coach "10 times. but with the right load it was hard.

    Row 10000
WOD twice one with star and one without. The starless was 2 mins faster with a heaver load
