  2. Thank you so much to those of you in the Carport who have and currently do serve in the Military. We appreciate you all and your years of service day in and day out ensuring that we continue to live in such a great country with great influence for that same freedom around the world...often at great personal sacrifice. WE HONOR YOU!

  3. Pack 95lbs
2:27, 3:34, 4:22 (notice the trend?) 4:14, 3:56 (not sure how these last 2 went negative again because they certainly didn't feel any easier).

I feel like the 'Hammer' fell right on top of me. This puppy absolutely wore me slap out! It'll take me hours to regroup. As they say on Kili Stacey....'mama yangu mgufu sana'.

  4. Bill... "mgufu" I couldn't recall/locate... but I'm sure mom would be proud! ;)

I did 55#. The limiting factor on this for was the push jerks..

We created a new expression today!
Recall the Road Runner and Coyote cartoons of yore? Remember when the Coyote got mixed up with a Jackhammer and for the rest of the episode he would take a few steps and shudder and shake uncontrollably? Yea, I really mixed it up with jackhammer today. Therefore I have.......
    ACME Arms!
Still shaking sitting here at work!

  5. I'm with you Stacey! Great analogy. Although this morning I feel more like the coyote when the anvil would fall on him;0(
BTW it's a slang version of gumu...now you can translate it.

  6. gumu... was my first instinct...shoulda gone with it. IT sure was a....

  7. So I''m sure I've asked before and just can't remember, but which evening class has an open spot? I am going to try to come tonight. I don't know if it was the rain or the sweet puppy/baby snuggles, but I just couldn't drag myself out of bed this morning.

  8. I was a puppy this morning. I did 35# but I made it through. The pullups were the hardest part for sure. I can't remember all of my splits. I really can't remember what I had for breakfast.

  9. Ok folks... Here's an event that could be alot of fun, especially if you are feeling like a workout and a "cheat" on your diet. And it's all for a good cause!!
    Remember that donut conversation ???
Well, we are going to have a
KRISPY KREME DONUT DASH TO BENEFIT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL!
    yes.. believe it!
    http://www.k2d2fun.com/racedetails.html

It's time to put your money where you mouth is, literally... hehe

You don't "have" to eat all the donuts, you can carry them home or to work to distribute... but you don't earn the medal unless you do!

  10. I love it Tonya. Now that's a true crossfitter's state of mind!

  11. Tracey- what time did we start from? Tonya- 0. Ha! It is definitely Monday! Had to do a modified version due to the knee, but looking to make it up tomorrow. Great job to Tonya and Stacey on the pull ups!!

  12. Kista, i believe we are full on Mondays and Wednesdays. You could come to 6:30, but if it isa full class, you wont be able to run the wod. I would say come on anyway, but with it raining, we can't really open the doors and wod outside as drew and amber discovered this morning. Its up to you if you want to come down and see if there is a spot.

  13. What time did we start at? 0...
That was very, very, very funny!

    Someone needs a t-shirt with
3,2,1, GO! (Zero) embossed on it!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Cori can use the 3.2.1..Go on zero for the row into the new year shirts.

  15. Tell you what Stacey...I'll sponsor you and you run the dash;0).

  16. Works for me Bill! Remember, you don't "have" to eat the donuts. I will probably need someone there at the finish to catch me when I pass out.

  17. What a great WOD! Sorry I'm missing it. Headed to TEXAS for work. Can you say "Travel WOD"?? See y'all Thursday!

  18. There have been a lot of funny things said at the carport but i think Tracey's "when did we start?" Has been my favorite to date. Plus Tonya's dry "zero" added to the humor of it!

  19. I'm in for that race. Seriously.

  20. P - while you are in Texas please swing by College Station and give Manziel a big hug for me please....

    ReplyDelete
  21. Stacey - I'll do the catching/cheering and eating(if required) as long as you do the running.

  22. Hate I have to miss this one. My kind of wod.
I bet Drew did this one with 185.

  23. Puma, as discretion allows, you should utter the phrase "roll tide" as many times as possible while in the state of TX. We got whooped, but we're still proud. Besides, everybody who pulls for the boys in Austin will agree with you. A&M is the Auburn of TX.

  24. Happy Birthday, Will K!! Hope you have had a great day!
