  3. Oh no! Yes! Please let us know how Sandy is!

I love this WOD. Too bad I cannot make the 'port this week. :(

  4. Sandy is home with her leg up being waited on hand and foot. Nothing 16 stitches wouldn't take care of. That puppy went right to the bone. All of a sudden I wasn't so ready for breakfast. She is one tough lady! Not another soul in ER at Trinity Hospital at 6am. Whisked her right on through. I can show you a pic tomorrow if you are curious;0). She won't be doing box jumps any time soon.

  7. Oh Sandy! I still can't believe you didn't cry! I just got a bruise and wanted to cry. Hope it starts feeling better soon.

  8. She was trying to increase her box jump rep time during the WOD this morning and caught her shin on the way down. She cut the purtiest 3" V into the skin on her shin you ever saw...right to the bone - yukko. Nurse Amber was on that like white on rice baby and you should have seen Doc Drewski hoist her into the truck. I'm glad Amber handled that because if I had tried Drew would have been putting me in the truck.

  10. OMG! That is terrible and makes me shudder. I am so sorry for Sandy:( Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Food? Ice? Pain relievers? An ax to chop up the offending box?

  11. Cynthia - 13:15 pack. Did knee push ups last time, box push ups this time. This WOD is what started me doing push up skunk work. I still hate push ups, but they are better than they were. Maybe I will actually be able to do a real push in a WOD someday:)
Still thinking of Sandy and hope that she is the only casualty of the day. Feel better Sandy!

  12. Sandy I hope your leg heals quickly... ouch that sounds so painful. I cannot help but notice the irony of the name of the WOD - 'surprise party' I guess it was...
