35# with right arm only- 95 reps. 40# 1RM BB Turkish get up (right arm only). I tweaked my left tricep trying to keep up with the boys rowing Saturday. I didn't keep up and learned a lesson:)
Way to go ladies! Remind me never to arm wrestle any of you.
I knew that was the case Cori with the kettlebell to the ground but I wasn't about to say anything....you know - Estobar and all. Also now that we know you have a predilection for roller derby Eddie and I are minding our Ps and Qs. We may be crazy but we're not stupid;0)
Bill if u know that i am doing something wrong, plz tell me. in the past, we've gone to the ground and at regionals w/ dumbbell snatches it had to touch the ground. But db snatches arent the same as kb snatches. Also, i watched the video but was concentrating on the pull punch to avoid forearm bruises, not where the bell was in relation to the ground. again, my apologies to a.m. classes
No apology necessary Cori. For me it didn't make a hill of beans difference in the WOD. My forearms appreciate the concentration on the pull punch. I enjoyed the single movement change up in the WOD from our norm.
The Ukrainian guy in the video was not saying what the subtitles may have led you to believe. What he actually said was that this was not a workout, but rather, a punishment that was developed in the gulags of Siberia. A top secret form of Russian self flagellation imposed upon dissidents. He's sayin....
