whooooowooooeeeeee! THAT...was a good one. We looked death in the eye..(and as Brandi said) "we spat in it"!
25:08 1st round with 35lb plate and next 2 rounds with 25lb plate. After finishing the first round with the 35lb plate I gathered up all of my man parts that fell out on the first return trip, put them back in my pocket and swapped my 35 out for a 25. No heroes here.
When Cori laid out the course this morning from the Carport down almost to the corner dumpster I thought...three times...down-back-down..I can do that. Then the hammer fell when Cori said "ahhhh no - that would be down and back is one.....3 times." I spent most of my time drafting Brandi, Sandy and Eddie to cut down on wind resistance.
Hate I missed it... I had to be AT work at 630 this am... I need to do this one on my own...wee haaa!
sandy crushed it today! she did the first round rx, and switched to 15# plate....however she was the fastest in the gym today. way to go sandy!
300m of walking lunges is no joke...then add weight overhead and you "look death in the eye." haha!
Sandy was definitely in beast mode! Today I address her as YES MAAM!
Bill- you are so funny! Great job Sandy!
Yay Sandy!! Great job!
Bill, you crack me up w/ your posts!! I will be sitting this one out, as I have a race in the am. Sandy, great job!!!!
You know it's bad when coach has to ask you if you are okay!!! Bill...please remind me to pick up my man parts as I am sure there are some still laying on the concrete. 25:18 with 35# 1st round then 25# after reality set in.
Way to kick butt Sandy!! You nailed this one.
Everyone have a great weekend.
Oatie - that would be a good move.
If I was to do this one again I would stick closer to Cori's written instructions on the board this morning..'Pick a weight you are comfortable with'. I would grab one of those 2 1/2 pound plates off the rack and get after it ;o}
Wow, sounds like this was a real tough one! Way to go, Sandy! Look forward to being back on Monday.
Bill, I thought you addressed Sandy as "Yes ma'am" all the time! :)
Nope-usually 'my dearest sweetheart'
