Brad steadily improved all day today. He was only on the BiPAP for about 3 hours this morning and an oxygen mask for the rest of the day. He seems to be clearing a lot from his lungs. The PT lung therapy seems to be working. They are going to clean out his lungs again in the morning. His stomach is also waking up. All good things...our prayers are being heard!

I was able to pick the kids up from school and eat dinner with them. I returned to the hospital around 7:45. Brad's mom was here until about 7:15. When I got back to Brad's room, he had some how turned on his side, his oxygen mask was off, and he was trying to yell help. How did he get like that? how long had he been there? Perhaps he tried to move and just got stuck, and there was no one here to help him. Not being able to talk has to be terrifying. It makes me not want to leave him alone again, but I can't spend the night in his ICU room. I will make sure he has the nurse call button in hand before i leave. Please pray that he is able to stay calm and comfortable tonight. It really is a good thing that he was somehow able to move onto his side and remove the pillows from his legs. I'm sure he is just tired of laying in the bed and wants to move. Brad has never been one to sit still.

I read most of the posts, Facebook messages, and e-mails that we recieve to Brad. We are both very humbled and encouraged by all the people that are praying for us, bringing us food, and supporting us in so many ways. My parents haven't stopped since last Monday... From bringing me Starbucks every morning, to sitting in the waiting room all day, to driving me and Sharon to and from the hospital, I am so lucky to have my parents. I honestly could not have made it this far without them.

  6. Cori that was a great job...good numbers!

Unless that was tongue in cheek "fun", you've done 1 WOD too many and we're all going to chip in so we can get you a life girl.

  21. Holy Slam Ball that was rough. And I was somewhere in the Pee Wee League with 55# on the cleans. I managed to eek out 114 ball slams which is more than I was expecting with the 20# ball. My hands and grip are SHOT! TGIF!

Happy birthday Bill! I hope you have had a fantastic day!

    "collegiate" (115/20)
    53/40/40/40/41= 214
I was splitting my cleans. I know that is a problem, but I didn't know what to do about it mid-WOD so I just kept doing it.
