  6. Congratulations Coach on the win this weekend!!

    25:40something with 20# ball, jumping pull-ups, 100 single-unders 1st round then lateral hops.

Thanks for the equipment sharing Bill. My forearm would not have made it without the assistance.

  7. RX numbers with severely modified WOD. Subbed one arm dumbell thrusters for wallballs, and pushups for pullups-completed all DUs but it took about a month to finish therefore my time is irrelevant.

I discovered K Tape this weekend...that stuff athletes at Crossfit Open Competition and throughout the olympics had plastered across various body parts. It could be in my head but it seems to be working on my right elbow. It is probably magic. I'm fairly certain that Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh's wins were directly proportional to the amount of tape on their bodies. I think I'm gonna need more tape.

  8. Bill, I'd need so much tape, I'd look like a mummy!!

  9. Congrats Coach Cori and "well done" to all the Carporters who competed at the GodSpeed fundraiser. I was not previously aware of the other two ministries who benefited but Restoration Academy in Fairfield is doing some AMAZING things and all right here in our fair city!!!

This was pretty tiring, but maybe being Monday didn't help! :-)

  11. Per his wife's post on Facebook:

‎"Brad Hawley was doing toes to bar at Iron Tribe today and his hands slipped and he fell on his head. He cracked his skull and is bleeding in his skull as well as in his brain. He just went into emergency surgery at Trinity Hospital. Please pray for him! I am in Charlotte for work trying to get home to be with him. Please also pray for my safe and speedy travels home...."

  12. Update re the guy at Irontribe:

Forrest and I are here at hospital and Brad is out of surgery. The doctor felt very good about things and said that he found the source of the internal bleeding and stopped it. Brad should be awake soon and his prognosis is positive thus far. ~ Jim

  14. Thanks for the update Cori. That is just awful.

Glad you WOD'd today - I can't say I was disappointed that I had to mow the lawn this afternoon, but I will do this on Saturday. Get after your goats, as they say...Well, maybe nobody says that except me, but it is true all the same.

  15. Modded WOD due to stitches in knee, 40-25-10 push/strict press 45 lbs, ring rows, 15:46.

Thanks for the update on the poor guy with the toes-to-bar accident! That is scary!

say, that 14# ball feels a lot heavier than it did a month ago... Kinda slogged through this one. It was tough! I did my first DU's though - 5 in a row. haha. I hoped to do them in the wod but my foot felt funny doing them so I just did 1:1 singles. Normally we do 3:1 singles but since this was my first time to jump rope I opted for a lower scale.
